The Napa Women’s Circle cannot serve as mental health therapy. If you need help finding a therapist, we recommend doing the following:

If You Have Insurance

Call the telephone number for members on the back of your insurance card for assistance. They should be able to tell you which therapists are in-network with your plan in your area.

Some plans allow you to see out-of-network therapists by paying out-of-pocket and getting reimbursed by your insurance.

If You Do Not Have Insurance

You can choose to pay out-of-pocket, some therapists work on a sliding scale which means they will work with you on a fee that works for both of your needs.

Find a Therapist Using Psychology Today

  • Visit www.psychologytoday.com and select "Find a Therapist."

  • Enter your city or zip code

  • If you have insurance you can refine your search so your results include in-network practitioners:

    • From a computer select your insurance provider on the left

    • From your phone select the icon “Refine” in the upper right-hand corner

  • You can also select specific issues and details of specialization

  • Read therapist’s profiles and see if you connect.

If you or someone you know is experiencing a mental health emergency or crisis, go to the closest emergency room, Exodus (Napa Crisis Center), or call 911.
