Feminist Book Club
The Feminist Book Club, a creative collaboration with Napa Bookmine, meets the fourth Wednesday of every month from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. at Napa Bookmine's Pearl Street location to discuss books exploring a range of feminist issues.
Jenna Sanders and Stephanie Der selected works of literature, memoirs, graphic novels, essay collections and works of nonfiction to explore in 2020. Together, they share a vision for shining a light on intersectional feminist voices with unique perspectives that broaden and enhance our understanding of feminism.
The Feminist Book Club is open to the full gender spectrum in an effort to encourage important conversations about equality among all members of our local community.

July 22, 2020
6:30 - 8:00 p.m. Redefining Realness: My Path to Womanhood, Identity, Love & So Much More
Stephanie Der never goes anywhere without a book, and her friends go to her for a good read. Her taste spans speculative fiction, memoir, and romance. When not voraciously reading, she can be found writing, participating in fandom, or looking at cat pictures on the Internet.
When Jenna first started dreaming of a Feminist Book Club, she knew Stephanie was the perfect partner to turn to for a diverse selection of female-driven narratives...what she never expected was how deeply they would connect over their love of memoirs and extra-large cat bellies.
