Traditional, culturally constructed, definitions of femininity include qualities like gentleness, sensitivity, sweetness, compassion, tolerance, nurturance, and deference. Are these traits applicable? Limiting? A potential source of power? How do we identify with or relate to femininity? Are femininity and feminism compatible or combustible? ....Does any of this matter?
Gather with the Circle for a one-hour discussion on the subject of femininity. Questions to consider for the discussion are emailed to all attendees one week in advance of the offering.
